About this guide

Your real estate agent set up the guide you were sent — it walks through the steps between contract and keys for your own purchase. It is their guide for you, running on software built by My Key Guide, a service of Seeking Awesome, LLC. We built it; your agent is the one using it to help you.

We hold what your agent enters about your purchase — your contact details, the property, the dates that matter — and what you do on the guide itself, so it can show you the right next step and let your agent see how things are going. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. The full detail of what is collected and who ever sees it is in our Privacy Policy.

If your guide shows you vendors — lenders, inspectors, title companies, insurance agents, and the like — they are either professionals your own agent picked, or drawn from our referral program. Showing you someone is not an endorsement: we do not vet, license, supervise, insure, or guarantee any of them, and asking for an introduction is never exclusive or required. You are always free to use anyone you like.

Some vendors have a business relationship with a party to your transaction. Where that is the case, the referral itself says so, in these words:

You are never required to use an affiliated business, and using one or not makes no difference to what the rest of your guide shows you.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to remove it. There is no button for this — write to admin@seekingawesome.com (you or your agent, on your behalf) and tell us what you’d like. A person reads every request, verifies it is really you asking, and responds directly; that step is why there is no self-serve option here.

Removing your information replaces your name, phone number, and email with a placeholder and shuts off your guide link right away. It does not erase the transaction record itself or a rating you left about a vendor — our Privacy Policy explains why, and what else applies.
